Morning, Jetsetters! We have some exciting news...

JUPITER JET AND THE FORGOTTEN RADIO was nominated for BEST KIDS COMIC / GRAPHIC NOVEL in the 2021 Ringo Awards! 

In case you're unfamilar, The Mike Wieringo Comic Book Industry Awards is an annual celebration of the creativity, skill and fun of comics. Nominations were determined by fans and pros alike. 

The entire creative team is SURPRISED, SHOCKED and HONORED by this nomination, and we want to extend an enormous THANK YOU to everyone reading this. YOU helped Jupiter Jet and the Forgotten Radio become a reality. So this is YOUR AWARD NOMINATION as much as it is ours. THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts.

THE STORY: What if the world's greatest superhero had a best friend who livestreamed his every fight and deed? Meet Mattie Moore, the best friend and videographer for Captain Terrific. The villains hate him; the fans love him, and Mattie himself will have to deal with his love of superheroes when he accidentally reveals hidden secrets in one of his videos.

Creating, funding & shipping JUPITER JET AND THE FORGOTTEN RADIO is one of our proudest accomplishments in 2020 and we hope you think of this graphic novel the same way! Your support helped us bring Jacky Johnson's adventures into outer space!

The Shipping News Update!

Hello Jetsetters!

As of tonight, 90% of all backers packages are heading your way in the mail!

That's over 500 packages shipped in less than 7 days...

Ashley and I spent the last week shipping off as many of your books as we could. In fact, we've already seen several of your pictures with the books on social media. Please keep doing that! We love sharing them. 

QUICK UPDATES ON SHIPPING:

1) Several copies of the book were damaged when they were delivered, and we've already requested replacements. So if you haven't received your Backerkit tracking number, unfortunately you're in that small group. (It's a very tiny group -- about 30 of you). Hopefully, those copies will be replaced and shipped in the next two weeks. 

2) INTERNATIONAL BACKERS: We know UPS/USPS has changed their shipping prices and regulations since we originally ran the campaign in January 2020, and we have received notifications that certain International Backers may have to pay tariffs on their Kickstarter rewards. If this is the case for you, we apologize, but this is out of our hands and subject to your country’s codes and postal services. We are crossing our fingers this doesn’t happen, but we wanted to do the right thing and make you aware of it.

3) If you have any problems with your reward, please MESSAGE us on KICKSTARTER or EMAIL US at [email protected]. If you contact us anywhere else, we probably won't see it. This is the most direct way.

4) There's still 30 people that haven't completed their Backerkit survey. If you don't complete your address, we can't ship your book to you! Please complete this before 2021!

SPEAKING OF 2021:

That's when I will launch the campaign for my new comic, SUPER BEST FRIEND. We'll be going the single issue route this time with a 48 page issue full action starring my original characters CAPTAIN TERRIFIC and his sidekick, MATTIE MOORE. It'll be a fun superhero adventure told over 3 issues. We'll have VARIANT COVERS (by some amazing artists) and if the first campaign goes well, we'll break out even crazier STRETCH GOALS. (Did someone say Holographic Trading Cards?) If everything goes well, we'll be launching that book on January 19, 2021, and I hope you come along for the ride!

The Books Have Arrived!! Shipping Begins...

Hello Jetsetters! 

FULFILLMENT HAS BEGUN!

Ashley and I picked up our printed copies of JUPITER JET & THE FORGOTTEN RADIO this morning! We're thrilled and the books look great, Why not take a look and unbox them with me?

So what does this mean? It means that Ashley and I are going to be packing up these books for their journey towards your homes over the next 2 weeks. Please check the email connected to your Backerkit account, if you are receiving a physical copy, be on the lookout for a tracking number for your reward. (If you don't receive a tracking number in the next 4 weeks, please message us here.)

Thank you all for making Jupiter Jet's second adventure a reality. You're the rocketfuel beneath our jetpack.
