First off, today Kickstarter has named Jupiter Jet and the Forgotten Radio -- their Comics and Illustration PROJECT OF THE DAY. I blame all of you. Thank you.
Because you all have been keeping Jupiter Jet flying high, we have BLOWN PAST stretch goal NUMBER ONE, and are well on our way to Stretch goal NUMBER TWO! So, let's keep things going!
Now all BACKERS at the $16 level and above will receive the DIGITAL OGN of Jupiter Jet and the Forgotten Radio plus the Bonus Art print! (Digital print for digital backers, physical print for physical reward backers!)
Sometimes during these campaigns, we get a little too focused on making sure that Kickstarter is going perfectly. But that's only because we're so excited to continue the legend of Jupiter Jet. We just added some details to a new planet you'll see in Jupiter Jet 3, and the twist of Jupiter Jet 4! As soon as this campaign is over, I know we'll be racing to get Jupiter Jet 3 out there as soon as possible. (We've even toyed around with making a one-shot based on Chuck, her little brother.)

FUN FACT: I love cars. And car races.
Yes, that might mean that I have to turn in my nerd badge, but so be it! (Please don't cancel your pledges just cause I like automobiles, PLEASE!)
One of the great things about Kickstarting a comic book is connecting with the amazing creators also making their own books. Which led us to create a RACE!
Whoever raises $1000 first wins, and gets crowned the "virtual" winner of Kickstarter. The loser has to make a video praising the winner's sci-fi heroine. And we all know how much Jupiter Jet loves her praise!

I've mentioned TREKKER before. I love sci-fi stories and the world of Mercy St. Clair looks like a whole lot of fun. It originally debuted in the 1980s, and this campaign is giving comic creator Ron Randall the first chance to collect the entire series into a beautiful hardcover. The pages of Trekker are being updated to color for the first time, and they look fantastic. I'm very happy these stories will finally be printed, and we can all learn how the story of a bounty hunter in the 23rd century will end! I've backed this book, and you should too.
WE ALL WIN when great comics are made. But I think we all know that a jetpack can beat a 23rd-century bike, right?

It's over 470 pages collecting the 23rd-century adventures of his sci-fi bounty hunter, Mercy St. Clair. I'm a backer and you should be too.

Well, it's because all you Jetsetters are truly that. AMAZING. (FYI: Jetsetters = Jupiter Jet fans, that's you!)
Ashley and I believe in Jupiter Jet. That's why we're pushing to get her stories in your hands. Jupiter Jet evokes the days of comics like Superman Adventures/90's Robin/Leave it to Chance to us. It's the style of a comic full of love, fun, and adventure that we need to do.
And it means the galaxy to us that you believe and support her too.
We think a lot of comic fans would enjoy her jetpack adventures as much as you do. That's where you can help JUPITER JET. (Again!)
You can reach the people that have never heard of JUPITER JET, the people we can't reach. If you were to share one or two of the images below over the next week about JUPITER JET, you would be flabbergasted at the difference it makes.

He's taken the skills that he honed on legendary runs on Daredevil and Superboy (my favorite Superboy run, FYI) and turned it towards his original characters! He's got a set of Trading Cards for Section Zero (his funky, cool, sci-fi team), but more importantly, the campaign now offers an 8-page story about Sam Hell. This is the first story that Karl has written and drawn SOLO in a decade. So it's one you don't want to miss.
Karl's original characters are so electric. And that's what makes supporting his campaign worth it. The passion bleeds through.
